In the time it takes him to figure out the microwave, he could have made a fresh pot of coffee. Glad i don’t even have a microwave.

I do 2 minutes for 20 oz mug.

A lot depends on the amount you are heating and the power of the microwave. 2 min for 16 oz in my home microwave will boil it. 2 min for same in my work microwave will barely warm it up.

Microwaved coffee tastes odd to me, but 42 is obviously the correct answer. It’s the answer to everything.

“Beverage” works well on our microwave, “Reheat” not so much.

He should have just used a Keurig.

Everyone should remember tube TVs. Every time the power cycles to the microwave tube, it takes a couple of seconds to get back to full power.

Does this have something to do with ‘cancel culture’? He’s doing a lot of cancelling. Hope he appreciates that coffee once he gets it figured out.

My favorite coffee cups get too hot to handle when reheating.

Luckily, coffee never has a chance to sit long enough to get cold when I’m around…

I showed my son the trick of using ½ power 2x as long to get more even and he couldn’t believe it. I worry about new generations that are clueless as to how technology actually works.

Then there’s the times the cup is hotter than the coffee.

If you heat a cup of water in a microwave, it can explode when you take it out.
