Broomie has a reputation as a “grumpy old witch” to maintain, even though she’s given up most of her former vices (such as smoking) in recent years….

I had a co-worker who complained about the customers being rude to her, some of her co-workers gave her a hard time, the boss didn’t like her…. I asked her who was the common denominator in all these situations, but she didn’t get it.
