Hey, Affie.

As you have probably heard either here, there or everywhere the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations have started here in the UK. Businesses have started closing earlier. The shopping centre I went to in a different town closed at 4pm today. I got there 10 minutes before! In my defense, I didn’t know it was closing at 4pm otherwise I’d have left the house much earlier. I got what I needed anyway… Cough… more Pick & Mix candy… Cough.

I didn’t have a wasted day though. It was a great one. After I got the Pick n’ Mix I went into the bakery and got a slice of Pepperoni Pizza which was hot out of the oven. After that I got on the train again and stopped off at a place where I used to volunteer 7 years ago. The building is now a Bathroom Cladding/Tile place but I already knew that.

Stay safe, stay well, stay cool and stay happy, pal.

“Carry on”? I was kind of expecting, “Let me give you a hand.” Then it occurred to me that Andy’s not really one to volunteer, even for the best of causes.

Andy has to get enough sleep to get to the sofa and rest.
