Years ago, I adopted a peach-colored Ragdoll cat when he was 3 years old. He was a companion for the next 20 years. And yes, when he wanted a lap to relax in, you were suddenly just as calm and had no desire to get up. Cat naps are contagious.

So cat.

And I can’t get out of bed until my 16 year old cat decides to move off of my hips.

Productivity does go down when a cat is involved.

Love it! We are never told why God rested on the seventh day; this is a fun suggestion. Even Almighty God didn’t want to disturb the kitty’s sleep.

Many years ago I had to have my cat put out of his misery. It helped to comfort my daughter (and me) by thinking of him warming God’s lap.

Unfortunately, this explains a lot: why our ‘thoughts and prayers’ don’t get answered.

I know of a few bad people who need a cat on their lap.

the only thing that tops a cat in the lap is two or three cats in the lap…

So which came first? Cat or God?
