    Growing up, a long time ago, we just tossed trash out the car window. Then the term “litterbug” became a thing. One day when my mom tossed something out the window, my little sister called her a litterbug. My mother was shocked and we started carrying a bag in the car for trash.

    i’d like to post a copy of this (translated into japanese, of course) everywhere here in japan – in parking lots where idiots open the car door and dump their cigarette butts, carefully leaving drink cans, too, and on signs along roads where people are still today doing what oldlady described above…
