“War is not healthy for children and other living things”: A popular poster originally done by Lorraine Schneider, first appeared in 1966 in reaction to the Vietnam War.
Wait. Wait. That was a long-hair-hippie-weirdo song. I played in on the juke-box an at NCO club in 1971 and thereby cleared out a whole table full of braying sergeants, leaving the place to us spec-4s who appreciated Edwin Starr.
Come on now, war is great for the military industrial congressional complex. Just look how Viet Nam enabled these greedy psychopaths. Thanks to that and SCOTUS, we now have a government “of the rich, by the rich, for the rich.”
“It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.
“A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small “inside” group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes." – Major General Smedley Butler

Some one send this to The Xerox before he misspeaks and stammers us into one.

It amuses me how, every day, a group of perpetually angry commenters expect Mr. Stantis to solve all the worlds problems via one comic strip.

No argument.
No originality, either.

Do they have to pay royalties for using the song?
