I was at the beach today, the thong is alive and well, thriving even. Trust me I was very thorough in my research,

Now you’re talking, Cathy! I enjoyed many a gelato during my two trips to Italy …

I have actually gone down at least one size (from a size 16 to a size 14) since this started. I have a bathing suit (not a bikini, I’ve never been a fan of those) in my dresser which will hopefully still look good on me if I actually end up at a pool or beach. If I need to get a new bathing suit, maybe I’ll try one of those high-waisted numbers. Would likely get another tank suit though.

I hope it updates soon??

Please—fish or cut bait!!

@GoComics: please remove this strip from your roster, as well as “Miss Peach” and “The New Adventures of Queen Victoria”.

They’re just wasting space that could be used for other strips.

OK, taking this one out of my bookmarks. I’ll check back in a few weeks to see if there’s anything new.

I do wish that if an artist decides to take a long break that they’d let the readers know so they don’t waste time checking a comic only to see the same one for weeks.

WOW This hasn’t been updated since May SMH I hope Cathy and her family are okay ???

I just saw on her Facebook page there is a new posting dated August 3. She has been visiting her mom, who is now 100 years young. I’m just glad that everything is Ok!! Hopefully we will see something new soon! :-)

How many weeks will we have to endure this commiseration? Not any more I hope.

I keep returning here, and trying to keep the faith that we’ll see something new … Happy to hear Ms. Guisewite is OK, though I miss updated comics. Hopefully soon.

At this point she should replace this comic with a note saying if and when she’ll be back.

I only just realized this, but in this picture Cathy reminds me of Garfield.

You’d think that somebody who used to be a professional cartoonist would know better than to treat their readers like this. Several months and no word as to what’s going on or if she’ll be back.

Cathy, are you taking a hiatus from Commiserations? Summer is over, so we are hoping for a new one soon. Thank you.

I’m always looking for something new here, but after so long, somehow I’m not holding my breath. [Sigh] Hope to hear something soon, from our artist or from GoComics.

96 days and this frame is the only one they can feature. 5/28 – 10/2.

OK, we’ve gone through the rest of spring, all of summer, and now we’re into fall.

If she’s not going to post updates or let us know what’s going on, she could at least do reruns so we’re not looking at a five month old strip every day.

Looks like Cathy Guisewite has decided to call it quits for good this time without saying goodbye.

If this comic has been discontinued, it needs to be taken down.

For gosh sakes, if it bothers you so much, stop following the comic and check back every once in a while to see if there is a new one.

If that comes as a “Sorbet-ini”, I’m in. :)
