@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny but a repeat, our HERO Mr Andrew CV is priceless :o), my avatar is a picture of a supposed child prodigy pushing on a door marked pull , he’s not so smart is he? how was your day? ours should be busy but we should cope I hope after the shopping is done we have no more errands to run, we both are in a good mood but we are staying inside the house and keep hydrated because it’s windy outside, keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady
CV stands for “Curriculum vitae”, which is Latin for “course of life”. If your employer asked for one, you don’t need to write a full autobiography. All you need is one page that lists all your work and education experience, awards, certifications, projects and other relevant information.
In other countries, it is more often called a “resume”, with CV reserved for academic positions. In the UK, CV is the standard document for all job applications.

Basic upshot is that the CV presents a full history of your academic credentials, so the length of the document is variable. In contrast, a resume presents a concise picture of your skills and qualifications for a specific position, so length tends to be shorter and dictated by years of experience (generally 1-2 pages)
Today was a beautiful sunny day. However when I first woke up it didn’t look very nice at all. I didn’t go out today because yesterday was a pretty long day but I might heave my lazy bones out tomorrow. On Saturday I’m going to Starbucks with my cousin. It will be my first time visiting there.
Stay safe, stay well, stay cool and stay happy, pal.

How about not falling in canals, or singing at the top of his voice at midnight, or fighting…

We could add the bit about avoiding Canal street.

How about, finding a stout friend who will help an ale-ing person get some good cheer without being bitter about it.

Mr Capp should tweak it by saying “and not fall in the canal”.

Having a cleaner cell would be nice. They always throw Andy into the same one.

He should at least put something in that’s achievable.

You notice Andy qualified his ambition and only said this week. Jail is major part of his lifestyle.

Hey, Affie.

Well, yes. He could name any number of pubs to visit. That’s a goal. Canals to avoid might be extra credit.

I suppose “avoid work” would have been too obvious.

2. Not falling in the canal. 3. Not buying any rounds.

Any day Andy Capp does not wind up in the canal is a victory. Any day he does not end up in jail is a miracle.
