    After you turn the water off all the work is underneath the sink, and on your back, in the dark unless you get a good light.

    It’s not like I don’t know how to do it. It’s just that between my knees, back and neck I just don’t bend that way any more.

    I had a leaky faucet in my house in Fullerton, CA. The shutoff valves were rusted so badly, I couldn’t shut them off, so I had to turn the water off at the street – that leaked. A simple repair turned into a total plumbing replacement. For that I called a plumber and he called the City to get a new meter installed.

    You can’t fix a leaky faucet. You replace it with a new one that will not leak for about three months. Oh yeah, and you hire a plumber to install it.
