THE PHANTOM: I like today’s 6/17 strip and the comment over at CK that Savarna must understand the Bandar tongue! The Phantom’s heart is broken over the loss of his son.
However, if this is the denouement of the Old Man Mozz story (and not “real time”), then it’s probably a sure thing that when we return to “real” time in this comic strip, The Phantom will NOT break Savarna out of Gravelines Prison. If Savarna stays in prison, she will not be able to travel to the Himalaya’s to exact her revenge on Jama…thereby setting into motion the events at that location that precipitate the voluntary disappearance of Kit, Jr. (phew!)

Gaturro and his friends founded a rock band. {I fear the worse.} It’s frightening! {Just as I feared… they’re going to have success!}

GATURRO: I love the “musical artwork,” and the reaction of G’s owners in Panel 2!
