How did Spud manage to hornswoggle all that cream corn from the lunch ladies?

That I would’ve love to have seen.

She’d trust Spud with a secret, after seeing that..?

HOORAY! Spud has a secret admirer! But I’m afraid he will be scared by her.

“Which one?” I bet that’s a pretty high number!

I wonder if Wallace will have to rescue Spud on his way out.

She could host a Halloween party, with horror videos and some “Scary Mary Commentary.” A moment in the sun, or so to speak.

And Wallace has Mary Heidelburger being kind while he is too. This cartoon strip is so good!

So if he doesn’t mention Mary, what does he say?

“I found a Nexus, joining the various shadows of the multi-verse. I have travelled for many years, seen many sights and made many friends. I return to you now to lead you to the future!”

So. Much. Corn.

Spud gets his own font? And there music? What reverence!

I guess the pick of “Spud runs into Wallace on his way out” wins the pool.

Just thinking that running into Mary in there is kind of like climbing a peak thinking you are the first one only to find someone has built a vacation cabin at the top.

I imagine he also faceplanted into that cream corn upon tripping.

Spud is going to hear his name and spring into action!

The implied backstory is ripe with imagery. But then I’ve had more than my usual amount of coffee… in recent days.

It’s a proven scientific fact that a cup of creamed corn will easily cover 100 square feet of area.

At least we know that she is not a ghost……
