Always gotta trim off that fuzz…

Today’s strip is pretty gouda.

Moldy cheese is strong cheese.

I’ve shaved cheese like that.

Back in the day – we would buy 10 pound whole wheels of hoop cheese. Really great mild tasting cheese back then. Still buy in 1 lb blocks but does not taste as good or last as long. Plastics not good for cheese. Use brown paper or under cheese glass/board.

My husband will throw a whole block of cheese out if he finds a little bit of mould on it. He will not accept the fact that the cheese is perfectly ok – probably better than it was, actually.

Gets my taste buds a-tingling.

I’m dreaming of a grilled cheese sandwich. Just like the ones I’ve eaten before. Where the butter sizzles and the cheese drizzles. And the smell it opens up my nose.
