for me, from time to time, I still have that nightmare that I didn’t finish high school yet because I missed a subject, and sometimes a college course.
I retired years ago, but would love to go back to the office … just to sit in the break room and gossip with my fellow employees about how terrible the boss is.
I’ve never had a job that I could not make fun doing. I’m very careful with my job hunting and interviewing process so I usually don’t join bad companies. I’ve had bad companies take over my job and then I have fun looking for a new one.
I could not make my current job more perfect if I tried. It’s 100% from home and I basically work when I want. I was offered a salaried position and turned it down to be hourly so I would not feel guilty for taking unpaid time off. I get all my work done and everything I do is on my schedule.
I wake up from an otherwise sound sleep emitting a blood curdling scream, and it bothers the other people in the office. Those hanging around in the break room down the hall hear it with an extra eerie echo.
i work freelance and i use the term “work” very loosely. back when i worked as an office drone my co-workers referred to me as the “recurring nightmare”…

I didn’t leave voluntarily — my job got shipped overseas. The quality has gone down since then, too.

Retired 5 years and I still am plagued with the work dream several times a week. Sigh.

Retirement, the best job ever. I’m the CEO, CFO, & HR Department rolled into one. I only have to answer to myself.

I’ve been free of that nightmare since April. Now it’s an old house with a long honey-do list.

I have had several out of the house jobs, but mostly been a “housewife” for more than 50 years. I keep wondering when I get to retire.
