I recall the old not-suitable-for-the-office wall poster (nevertheless very popular some places): “Every day forces me to add to the list of people who can kiss my a__!”

While working, I was paid to listen to stupid. Now, in a nice retirement, introduced to such, I can just walk away.

T-shirt commentary: Sometimes I stay inside because it’s too peoply out there." AND “People. . .not a big fan.” AND “The universe is made of protons, neutrons, electrons, and morons.”

Stupid I can deal with, to me it implies someone doesn’t have the ability to process information. Ignorance I can deal with because it means someone has the ability to learn, but doesn’t have the knowledge base. I find myself ignorant of many things, often on a daily basis, when I do, I try to educate myself.

What I have trouble with is arrogant ignorance. To me it means someone has the ability to learn and has been afforded the opportunity to learn, but resolutely and assiduously, refuses to learn.

No, I am not making any sort of political statement here because to me it doesn’t matter where you are on the political spectrum. People are entitled to their opinion(s), just as I am free to disagree or agree with any given premise.

Seems kinda stupid to put up with stupid.
