Since retiring I’ve gotten into baking a bit. My wife loves my pies, esp the pumpkin with walnut struesal topping. Last night i provided a dip of vanilla ice cream on top and she forgave all of my faults (for 15 minutes!).;-D
No thanks. Pumpkin spice and Pumpkin pie do nothing for me. Probably caused by being fed boiled Pumpkin many nights of the week as a child (when everything went on and came off at the same times regardless of cooking times

Aunty, it’s all of those pies that have you perpetually dreading swimsuit season.

I have never been able to warm up to eating pies, but I used to bake them for fun.

If I eat a piece of pumpkin pie it’s gotta have whipped cream on it.
