Roses are red, violets are flowers.Wallace could go on for hours & hours.

Wallace must like the attention….

Bottom of his feet should be pretty calloused.

And he can always wash his toes in the ocean!

Just once I would like to see Wallace think about helping others and donate his shoes to charity……..

But what fun would that be! Lol!

Even a fish is attending the “event”. Is it there to catch the shoes?

I wonder if Rose wants that job.

I hope the tide is going out, or Wallace may be seeing the shoes again.

The kid in the overalls is just a prop kid.

does anyone notice the fact on the second panel that there is clearly a fish or a bug in the water? maybe its there to eat the shoes.

I don’t remember any other characters we have seen and named. I don’t remember the name of the previous hall monitor before Rose came to town, just that he was a redhead and needed an inhaler.

Is the one in purple, about halfway back, is that the girl from the tire-whale?

What about that which should not be named?

He’s not selling it. That sounds awful and tetanus inducing.

I realize discarding his shoes is one of Wallace’s “bits,” but I do worry about his hard-working parents and the labor they put in to pay for them…

Gnarly?? I haven’t heard that word in a while

I remember as a kid of maybe 6-9 and going bare-footed all summer. Didn’t take long for my souls to get calloused. Wouldn’t even think of doing it today.

I was stationed in Germany back in the early 80’s. When a Soldier’s enlistment was up they would spray paint their boots some wild color, tie the laces together and then swing them around bola style and launch them at the electric tower outside the barracks.

I’m not saying it was a GOOD idea, or approving of the behavior in any way. I’m just saying what was done.

The signature was nice today.
