Someguy53 says: Jesus advocated living the Ten Commandments. The very Ten Commandments liberals hate to see posted anywhere on government property or taught in schools. Jesus was ANYTHING but a liberal! Refute me if you dare! ——————– Refute! Jesus was a liberal in his day. If you don’t think so you have zero understanding of Biblical times. In a time when people would be crucified for crimes such as theft Jesus taught forgiveness and understanding. What makes you think the 10 Commandments are some sort of conservative legacy? You think a liberal can’t believe and live by the 10 Commandments? I don’t think that there is a liberal alive who would honestly argue that the 10 Commandments don’t make sense. No one, liberal or conservative will support theft, murder, blasphemy or adutery. Be reasonable. Jesus had radical views for his day. It is what got him Crucified. If you argue against this you argue against all of Christian history. And all you are left with is fundamentalist, right-wing dogma.

Sorry Matthew, you’re just trying to be controversial and get something started. You can’t say something like God doesn’t exist any more then I can say he does. Neither one of us can prove it to the others satisfaction. We just have to be satisfied with our own beliefs and respect the beliefs of others. Your suggestion to follow the teachings of Christ and others is good advice. Lets hope we all take it to heart.
