Raining Cats, Dogs and Louie’s!

Our dog Maggie does not like the rain. When it rains I know that she will not poke around outside, will do her business and head for the door! That suits me just fine. :-)

He parked the ship at the beach? That’s something else you don’t want to undo in a heavy rain.

This is probably a rare time that we see Captain Henry wearing a different hat than his captain’s hat. He is so attached to that hat he usually even sleeps with his captain’s hat on.

I have a friend in Oklahoma who wouldn’t mind getting some of that rain. It hasn’t rained there in over a month, and tripple-digit temperatures aren’t helping.

Ah, I remember rain -from long, long ago. I live in south Texas.

The coloring in the last panel makes Louie look like a Florida Long Nose Water Dog .

Good morning Crew!

It’s gonna get into the high 80s – low 90s this next week. No rain for the doggos and they are Lab/Newfies. They gotta have the water. Which is where we are going today after lunch. And probably won’t get back until after second breakfast tomorrow. I swear, if Aquaman had dogs they would be Labs, Newfies and Chesapeakes.

One thing I “love” about these dogs is that they love their pack and the water so much that they will walk out of the water for 100 meters to shake off in front the pack to share it with them. It is good to be in a pack of doggos like this.

The simple pleasures in life, huh? I’m much more a sunshine and warm weather person, but if the rain’s your thing …
