I can’t stand the room echo or the gurgly sounds that sometimes goes with it!

Bub, the only reason to hold it that way is if you’re going to take a bite. SO, DO IT!

I think Bub needs to be taught the meaning of cool.

Lesson 2. Phone Etiquette. Lesson 3. Texting.

The best way is not to talk on it at all, but if you must please don’t go the third panel option.

All I know is, one way leaves ear wax on the screen and another way doesn’t. ’Nuff said.

I really wish people wouldn’t put it on speaker and have conversations like that. They always seem to talk louder and turn the speaker up. I don’t need to know how your “date” or the person you are speaking to “date” went. Nor about how Uncle Ted’s biopsy went. Or Cousin Janie’s divorce.

cool is not making other people listen to your conversations.

At least that way you get both sides of the conversation. In days of old you made a call in relative privacy, at home or in a booth. Not so much now, full volume in public.

At home, speaker. Hubby and I both take part in the conversation. In public, up to the ear and out where the conversation isn’t bothering others.

I know a woman who puts has her phone connected to the blue tooth in her car and then yells to the phone as she drives.. I tried to tell her that yelling distorts the sound of her voice but you just can’t tell some people anything.

I had to update my cellphone, because the service doesn’t support the old one anymore. I don’t receive many calls but the ones I have so far cause the Flashlight to become activated when my ear touches the screen. Maybe I will figure it all out as the time passes but for now it is another pain I didn’t want to deal with. I just don’t like being forced to update.

I don’t need to hear your conversation, and neither does the rest of the world. Use a phone like a phone when other people are around, unless you want those other people to join in the conversation.

I can’t understand people who carry on conversations in public, especially on speaker holding it to their mouth. Rarely do I hear one of those conversations that actually applies to the situation … just yakking away.

A lot of today’s hearing aids will let you bluetooth to your cell phone and converse hands-free. Some do require you speak into the phone, others use the hearing aid mics to send your part of the conversation back to the caller.
