The same goes for cat litter. Years ago, my husband bought some cheaper litter, and to show her utter dislike for it, my cat proceeded to urinate on our brand new bedspread, which cost more than I usually spend for one. Fortunately, the cleaner managed to get rid of the smell. Lesson learned.

This is true. As I have got the cheaper brand and my parrot refuses to eat it. The problem is the cheaper the more filler (inedible).
