Another trip the dog wash…… the “other” dog wash.

A circle appears and a dog walks through it. Clearly this is from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and this is Dogtor Strange from the Multiverse of Dogness. Dogtor Strange has no ice cream in her dimension, so she draws that circle using her magic and steps through to a dimension where ice cream is readily available on any passing toddler.

Farley and Sera share a romantic snack.

This strip doesn’t know what it should be. It could be sweet and adorable, or it could read like something out of a Stephen King horror novel. “The gray wall of fog was so thick that the neighbour’s dog, Sera, had to cut a porthole in it and step through!”

Is this what’s called Toddler-Licking Good?

Kids are sticky and dogs are lick-y. It’s a mutually beneficial dynamic and an age old paradigm. Teamwork, works.

This was so much fun to draw. Having April become part of the strip gave me material and imagery that kept my work alive and interesting—for me as well as my readers!

For the last year I live to read this strip everyday and I love the comments about past and future. I’m a n00b. I know from comments Farly going to go by trying to save April I believe and its going to crush me when that happens

Looks like April got a replacement cone from the one she dropped the day before…and isn’t taking any chances.

Guess that kid won’t need a bath later!!

April certainly is the center of attention these days.

My dogs would generously lick the plates clean so I didn’t have to wash them.

I grew up in the low desert (a.k.a. very hot) and we always had to eat our ice cream cones outside. Our mom would put my sister and me under a shady tree out in the backyard to have our ice cream. The dog figured this out. He would sit between us and we would share. Of course, sharing with two girls, he got more that we did. My mom saw this one day and got her camera and took photos before breaking up the impromptu party.

A ha! I believe that Farley and his little neighbor will ‘get together’ soon. (These are reruns after all. Shhhhhhhhh)
