It’s still watching people ride bikes.
It’s all relative. I’d rather watch bicycle racing from a velodrome than a NASCAR race from anywhere (now if we’re talking SPRINT cars…).
Think of those cute derriers.
Women’s poker tournament?
Air Racing, men and women competing as equals. 3-dimentional action.
Cornhole had a whole different meaning when I was a kid
Kate and Nick used to have their own solo strip, called “Second Chances”. Lasted about four years. It would make a great sketch on the Cleats show.
So it’s now chauvinistic to have no interest in Tour de France Femmes? No. And not interested in the WBA either.
The steep hill climbs are interesting viewing, like the Alpe d’Huez section.
From news accounts, I gather they all ran into each other at the start.
Tour de France is like NASCAR. Only die-hard fans are really into it, and everyone else just watches for the wrecks.
I respect the training, dedication, fitness level, etc. – but I still can’t get into it.
One 30 bike pile up later…
The best part of the Tour is the daily caravan before the day’s stage.
OK, I’m older, it never occurred to me that they were discussing bean bags. I couldn’t figure out how the other usage would be a televised sport.
I think France is as “woke” as the US. How long until they let men who think they are women in?
