    My first was a small room with a bathroom down the hall, shared by about a dozen people. The kitchen was in the other direction with a small fridg and even labeling your food was no guarantee that it would be there later. After a few months a room opened up with it’s own bathroom and I was so happy to move.

    Ahhh…I remember it so well. The pleasant days in the arboretum, or the library if it was a bit chilly, James leaving a tray of shrimp and pheasant or d’oeuvres with a carafe of iced tea, then, off to the stables for an afternoon jaunt over the properties…

    Yes, you can’t put a price on your first place, can you?

    My first was one room, couch/foldaway bed, kitchen nook w/combo fridge/stove, share bath. I loved it though, because there were people my age in the building…
