Many years ago, I got free cable for awhile because when I couldn’t afford it and cancelled, they cut the cable right outside the house, instead of up on the telephone pole. I bought the needed parts at Radio Shack and re-connected the cut cable, which I don’t consider stealing. And then later, when I re-signed up, they replaced the old parts and cable without a word about my little project…

I always figured that if the neighbors didn’t wan’t to share their signal with me, then obviously they would have set up a password.
