They let their signal invade your apartment, you can certainly use it.

You’re not breaking the law, but you are being rude.

Someone doesn’t know how to secure their router and signal.

Many years ago, I got free cable for awhile because when I couldn’t afford it and cancelled, they cut the cable right outside the house, instead of up on the telephone pole. I bought the needed parts at Radio Shack and re-connected the cut cable, which I don’t consider stealing. And then later, when I re-signed up, they replaced the old parts and cable without a word about my little project…

I always figured that if the neighbors didn’t wan’t to share their signal with me, then obviously they would have set up a password.
