This weeks theme of “stealing” someone else’s wifi signal reminds of a former boss I worked for. She had a phd in education, had wealth, influence, some-what of a savvy business person…but she found it useful to have a little detector that showed her unsecured wifi signals and she and her husband would tap into them and have the internet. They used it at home and while traveling …basically being wifi mooches.
Maybe if she let her friends know that their Wifi signal is unsecured, they’d be so grateful that after resolving that problem, they’d give her access.

At one place where I lived, my landlord piggy backed off my cable and internet. When we found out and cut him off, he threw a major tantrum.
