I have a good friend who graduated with a B.S. in electrical engineering. Upon being told by his local draft board that he was now being “targeted”, he volunteered for the Army. After this stint, the U.S. government paid for his going to mortuary school; which allowed him to take over his father’s business. Don’t think that he’s ever worked a day as an electrical engineer.
