Hmm, my style is stuff sold by salespeople who leave me alone to shop.

If you’d let me shop in peace, I may find something.

Looks like a trip to IKEA is in the offing.

And “style” is often just a way of saying that someone somewhere thinks something is worth paying through the nose for.

When it comes to furniture and home decor, I’ve always used “eclectic” to mean I don’t own any pieces that match.
