Story I read in 7th grade: An artist felt compelled to draw a picture of a man on trial for murder, then for some reason happened into a monument works where the carver had felt compelled to carve a name and dates onto a stone. The carver was the man the artist had drawn. The name and birthdate were the artist’s, the death date the day they met.
