One can be alone in a crowd of people.

I can’t stand people around me when I’m trying to do something: write, draw, pray, etc.

My late mother used to hover over me like that; it drove me crazy!!

Actually, for me being alone isn’t troublesome for me. Most people being alone for long periods is troubling to them. They are gregarious, I am not.

Who are you preying on if you are solo?
