I like the gag “Wayne’s World” did with that idea at the donut shop.

I tried to combine the two fractured sentences to make one… and it’s a lot harder than it looks.

Hmmmm…..stay in your cool, comfy car and decipher what the attendant is saying, get your food and be on your way…..OR…..find a place to park, walk inside, stand in line, etc., etc., then go back out to the hot (or cold in the winter) car. I’ll take the drive-through!

I hope John is on vacation, because this weeks cartoons have been about 2 days off his calendar.

Funny, they should change to Bose Speakers….“Drive around,your total for a burger and small fry is $18.00”.

I have notice a trend of actual people walking down the line of cars taking orders now. I feel sorry for them in the heat, but I appreciate it.

Ever wonder how much gas is wasted in drive-thru lines?

I heard some drive thrus have outsource to India. Don’t ask me, just something I read awhile back. That should be fun though, lousy speakers and unintelligible accents.

I’d expect their arms to be a little longer than usual from stretching them to hand out change multiple times

I didn’t understand a thing y’all said! A few words but that’s it…

This cartoon is from 2007. I think there has been improvement in many speakers since then. I walk by a Taco Bell regularly and noticed that in addition to completely remodeling and repainting it, I could hear people getting their orders in clear, plain English.

Oh, that’s the problem. I thought I was the $2000 wireless headset connected to the 1 inch paper speaker that’s been out in the weather since the store opened.

I’ll never forget the Disney radio channel song for kids about the guy trying to order a cheeseburger, orange drink, and fries at a drive through. But he can’t understand the window worker who repeats the order back poorly. Anyone else remember it?

The guy in the lower left looks as though he is sticking something into a glass.
