    Good morning Vagabonds

Sunlight is making it long crawl across the valley and will soon be shining on us. When I cast my gaze on the old thermometer I see 49 looking back at me, they say it’s fair. The forecast say mostly sunny and 77. Sunrise, Sunset.

A few years ago a couple from our church went on a mission to Ukraine but, of course they were forced to leave. Now they have returned home and are setting up a place where refuges can come to the NEK and prepare for life here in the US. So, anyway, I’m asking for prayer for Scott and Theresa Cianciolo and Agape Ministries as they help these folks adjust.

To all y’all a lovely day, and may the Lord guide you on your path.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

The pool is finally refilled and almost clean. It’s due for a regular scheduled cleaning today and should be perfect once that’s done. (There’s still quite a bit of dirt & debris left on the bottom of the deep end from when they drained it.) Now all we have to do is worry about the spa. The local health district tested it a couple of weeks ago and it was positive for Legionnaires Disease. The pool guy was supposed to drain it when he drained the pool, but he hasn’t. If we reopen the pool tomorrow we’ll put up caution tape around the spa.

It’s another pretty day around here. We got up to 98 yesterday and the forecast is for the same. The humidity is hovering around 50% which is bad enough but better than the mid 70’s we have had.

I have given up on “Jurassic Park”. I had forgotten just how intense it gets once things start to go wrong. It’s not that it is particularly gruesome, just extremely intense. I found myself reading maybe 10 pages and then had to put it down for a while. It would take a very long time to finish a 400 page book that way.

Everyone have a safe and blessed day.
