3/10 I don’t want to come across as negative, but this is looking like a terrible arc, because it’s another one of those arcs where the entire joke is just them simping for another girl.
His comment about “the hottest coffee” reminded me of this Golden Oldie, where two restaurant customers find themselves comparing notes:
Customer 1: What a place! I ordered a hot cup of coffee and got the hottest cup of coffee in the world! I ordered a fresh egg and got the freshest egg in the world!
Customer 2 (sadly): Yes, I know. I ordered a small steak.
