OK, I have jumped to conclusions yesterday, I admit that. This arc won’t be so bad after all. Of course, I can’t really expect it to be great, but I’ll give it a chance. I mean, diarrhea isn’t really so bad, it’s the stomach pains that come with it that hurt. And to be honest, I don’t think any food in the world is worth that trouble.
Okay, so from aside this comic having a disgusting joke while ironically having no joke at all, omelettes are not really that worth it to give yourself lower body problems.

Maybe Nate can use the uncontrollable diarrhea as an excuse to get out of Social Studies. (If he has school that day.)

I’m not sure if Gramps is saying “totally” twice intentionally or not in panel 4

I wonder what the “Lumberjack Special” is, hopefully not worse than the chili omelette

5/10 It’s an improvement, but the joke is weird.

Forget the diarrhea omelet, Nate. Go for the Lumberjack Special and leave a proper log.

….maybe that’s why Uncle Ted didn’t invite himself along for a free (loaded) meal……perhaps he’s familiar with the chili omelette……….

Setup: 6/10 good setup, nothing too significant. easy setup for an easy joke.
Punchline: 4/10 solid but resorts to toilet humour. understandable as the main audience is children
Aftermath: 7/10 nate and gramps’ lines both support the punchline well and slightly improve it
Art: 8/10 always good. great poses but nothing too special going on in background
Overall: 25/40 or a 62.5% decent comic
Thank you for reading I will be back again soon

Good to know, Gramps. I’ll stay away from your place whenever you’ve eaten at the diner the day before.

I’d ask what is ‘special’ about that special.

I really like the fact that Nate’s grandfather speaks and acts just like Nate does. It’s more believable that he’s one of Nate’s relatives.
