When microwave ovens were introduced, most people regarded them as ridiculously overpriced, way too big for the average kitchen and with little practical value. Nowadays it would be unthinkable to not own one.
Eventually, air fryers will fall into that category but currently, many people haven’t discovered what an amazing invention they really are.
I bought mine several years ago at a yard sale mainly because it was dirt cheap. Initially, I didn’t use it because I thought it was too complicated and didn’t expect it to work very well. But once I began using it, it changed my entire attitude towards cooking, in particular, as a single man who disdains that activity.
For starters, it cooks just about any food quickly, easily and with virtually no mess. Second, it cooks most foods perfectly… with the proper temperature and time settings. As a bonus, foods cooked in it are generally healthier to eat.
The only thing I regret is taking so long to buy one and begin using it.
