When my daughter was very young, I use to go outside and walk down the sidewalk with her hunting (for “lions and tigers and bears”). We would see what kinds of bugs and things we could find under rocks and branches and such.

Red’s imagination is almost as good as Calvin"s.

Continental tire is supposedly using the goo from (Russian) dandelion roots to make natural rubber for tires

Note the butterfly in the dandelion field. Hmmm… butterflies don’t feed on dandelions, they are way too bitter.

Love it! Thanks for the laugh. Great way to start the day.

Years ago, I was teaching a few ASL signs for fun to a group of kids. At the end of the lesson, I’d let them ask for whatever words they wanted. If I didn’t know a word, we’d do it first thing next class — after I had time to go look it up! One day, one kid asked for the sign for lion. Another asked for tiger. Then another asked for bear. I didn’t catch on until a 4th kid asked for the sign for “Oh, my!” Of course we all had a good laugh on that one.
