Terry doesn’t seem to understand the concept of tips–they are rewards from customer based on their perception of the “service” you rendered them.
(anyone else ever felt like leaving a “negative” tip?)
Prasrinivara, never left a negative tip, have left low to none before, but I tend to give the benefit of the doubt.
Now, I’ve heard that in Japan tips are actually a sign of disservice with your server.
He is fat. But, then, most of the people in this strip are.
I don’t think Terry is missing anything. Tips are expected in the U.S. because the government allows restaurants to pay below minimum wage while the customers make up the difference.
