My brother worked a job like that in the Air Force. A computer/comms specialist. He had a cubicle with three screens, a keyboard, a mouse, and a comfy chair….above him was five floors of high powered servers which were all in his control…..and connected. He not only kept things going….he could take them all out if necessary.
