I find most sports boring as heck. You hit a ball or bounce a ball or throw a ball, big deal. But most people seem to love them making a lot of multimillionaire players happy.

Heh. I love it when some people complain about how long a baseball game takes. First class cricket matches take three days. Test (international) matches take five. In baseball, there are nine innings per team, each with three outs. In cricket, two innings per team, with ten outs. In baseball, there is one pitcher, who stands on a raised mound. In cricket, there is a bowler, who runs up and delivers the ball. Cricket has something called an ‘over’; the bowler makes sis (eight in Australia, Aussies are strange) deliveries at one of the two active batsmen, then the field setup changes and the bowler (or a different bowler) makes deliveries at the other active batsman. In baseball, three strikes and you’re out. No such thing as strikes in cricket. In baseball, four balls and you advance to first base. In cricket, what would be a ‘ball’ in baseball gets the batting team a run… unless the wicketkeeper (catcher equivalent) lets the ball go to the boundary, in which case that’s four runs. (What would be a ‘ball’ in baseball is a ‘noball’ in cricket…) In baseball, if the batter is hit by a pitch he advances to first base. In cricket, depending on where and how the batsman gets hit by a ball, he could be out Leg Before Wicket. In baseball, a batter has to withstand a limited number of pitches. In cricket, a batsman can stay at the batting crease (don’t ask) all match. If the batsman hits a ball and the ball touches the ground before it reaches the boundary, that’s four runs. If it reaches the boundary before it touches the ground, that’s six runs. Think home run, in baseball. Sir Gary Sobers, the great Barbados and West Indies batsman, once got six sixes in one over. That’s six home runs in a row… Brian Lara, the great Trinidad and West Indies batsman, once got over 500 runs in one at bat.

F you. People complaining about it dragging is why they started the pitch clocks and other BS that made it go from a little draggy to now speeding past…. not fun for those of us that actually like baseball.
