In most catholic parishes the women account for more than half of the work/heavy lifting. And they don’t get much of a “say” in how the church operates. That is a sustainability flaw in the church.
According to a study done by the Jesuits, the Anglican and Episcopal Churches have “Apostolic Succession,” that is, they can trace back an unbroken line of ordination of bishops to St. Peter.
This is not officially recognized by the Vatican.
However, if it is true than we do have female clergy, they just are not Catholic.

Women can be saints, but not advisors? Mary might disagree. Early Christians met in households, where the women ruled.

The Pope had a lot of empty seats in Edmonton. Don’t ever remember anything like that in North America.
