I have a recurring dream where the streets go through people’s houses.
You have to enter the house to come out the other side, and sometimes the next street is higher up, so you have to go through stairs in the house.
These “street divisions” usually aren’t furnished, but sometimes, there are tables and chairs, occasionally a rug.
The floors are usually cement, but they can be wooden, too.
I’ve never “seen” TVs, or other electronics, but there may be a dish pantry (or whatever it’s called, I ain’t no Anglo).
So I guess this town may “exist” somewhere in the late 19th, early 20th century. Streets are usually cobblestones.
Dreams, nightmares, who’s to say which is which?
Sometimes I don’t know if it’s a dream I had before or if it’s new. Some seem familiar.
Me too.
