details, details, don’t sweat Alice with details

Alice, the eternal optimist!

But Dad, if you don’t buy it for me and bring it home today, how can I lose interest in it by tomorrow?

The two things that made this such a great comic strip- Richard’s drawing style and Alice’s self centered-ness.

Acceptable Alice answers: “Yes” and “Sure!” ☺

Alice and my granddaughter are kindred spirits.

You can’t use logic and common sense with Alice.

It would seem that at just four years old, Alice’s ears are not well developed yet. She heard nothing Dad said. She hears only What She Wants!

She’s as deaf as she is dear, Just hears what she wants to hear. Alice doesn’t hear, I fear, At all.
