Having a centralized energy monopoly has always been stupid for the consumer. Individual solar and wind generation is increasing due to lowered costs and greater efficiency. Conservatives hate to admit it, but President Biden really is building back a better America.

Henry, President Biden is doing his darnedest to do the job, unlike your orange hero, whose activities only included swanning around saying stupid things and wallowing in the presidential perks. Biden’s heart must be broken by now, but he keeps trying. Biden is dealing with cluster of Black Swan events, some of which were teed up by the Trump administration.. Of the remainder, most are out of Biden’s control, but Republicans make political hay by blaming him, The Senate and Trumpublicans are gleefully carrying out their vow to make sure Biden gets nothing done — a millstone around his neck. If you and your ilk were in his position you’d be screaming about how unfair it is and you’d probably have quit by now.

Ask Pete Buttigieg how much the power grids will be overloaded by just one EV per family. Better be prepared to help him with the answer though, before he starts tap dancing.

Maybe we are “addicted” to oil because it is the basis of our prosperity? As for me, I love having low cost energy, air conditioning, comfortable cars, and technology! When I was a child I grew up with no air conditioning and believe me, it was not pleasant in the summer very cold in the winter.
