I’m going to let my kids fight over who inherits everything I have…of course all I have is unpaid bills.

So you want to learn which set of genes you want to leave in your will?

Where there’s a will (involved), there’s a way (to use this to his advantage).

As the late, great P.J. O’Rourke put it, “Age and Guile Beat Youth, Innocence, and a Bad Haircut”.

Way back in the day, when my Uncle Charles was alive, he had a hearing aid of the type with the amp in his shirt pocket. At the dinner table, he’d turn it off when the dinner conversation got too unseemly. He was a staunch Baptist, you see.

I’ve thought about getting hearing aids just so I have an excuse for not listening to people

My first hearing aid was one that was one you put it in your shirt pocket, then they would asked the score of the game. Hated the da** thing and finally I got one that fitted behind the ear! Had them now for 60 years! Life savers!

Watch the Fawlty Towers episode ‘Communication Problems’ for a very funny scene with someone who has hearing aids.

This joke is about as old as the guy shown in the comic, It’s been around since the 1950s, at least.
