Yes. The GQP is the “Country Over” party. Meaning their goal is for the country to be over!

Who held the PARTY-sign?

What Republicans really want is to hold office: State and/or Federal – without going through an election, just take the office “over”. And, get rid of the “other” parties. The only opposition would be other Republicans.

At the top is integrity and true patriotism. It’s lonely up there for Republican Congressional representatives.

They want it to be the Country of Trumpistan, a Theocracy where only Old, White, Straight, Rich, Conservative “Christian” Men can vote.

One step in the Authoritarian’s Playbook: blind adherence to a leader over any principles/ethics/morals which used to guide the party.

So, can we count on these two for votes instead of Manchin?

Their voting records and prior loyalties will catch Cheney and Kinzinger in the swirl down the toilet with the rest of the Republican Party.

While these two Repubs did support Dump most of the time, they did see where he was going and finally saw the truth of it all. Eventually, they did put their country over party as this toon demonstrates. As more and more of Dump’s WH workers come forward to give testimony against Dump, perhaps the old Repub party might be salvageable after all.

It is amazing to see the liberals accusing the conservatives of doing exactly what they themselves are doing.

They both voted over 90% with the GQP, they aren’t saints. Last week Cheney voted against trying to keep extremists out of the military and police force. LAST WEEK.

They don’t care as long as they can seize power and live off America’s carcass for the rest of their lives.

Don’t worry, they’re still party over country, even if these two don’t want to be part of the fascist takeover plot. Not wanting fascists to win doesn’t make them principled legislators

Republiguns act like its party over country, they never do what the majority want.

The saddest part of this new reality – they will each be voted out by their constituents.
