Trust the weatherman. To comfirm the forecast look out the window to see what really is going on.Helps to know your area. My home is in a basin. Bad weather goes around the rim, most of the time. It can pour 20 miles away and the sky is a bright blue with no clouds here.
Living in Florida for 8 years now, I get nostalgic for snow and I REALLY miss wearing sweaters, coats and boots. But at 65, I don’t want to shovel anymore. Better that we take COLD vacations. That scratches THAT itch.
My husband has never seen snow in person. Living in the Outback, yanno. He used to tell my father he wanted to visit in winter so he could shovel snow.

I don’t even bother. Look out the window and draw your own conclusions.
