Couple of years ago when the first lockdown went into effect, I was picking up a delivery order at a place facing a mall’s outdoor food court. All around the weirdly deserted area, little birds were stumbling around, wondering “where the heck are all the french fries that are usually here?”

Oh, don’t worry little guy, the trash will never stop. But if it does, there will be plenty of human flesh to feed on.

Ours do a descent job of destroying many of the neighborhood gardens each fall. Then returning to the drain sewers each morning.

In the Forest, they are known as “Raccoons”, in the City they are known a “Trash Pandas” or “The Suburban Garbage Panda”.
