The sun sets on a wonderful summer.
A boy and his dog, it’s a beautiful thing!
Nailed it! Thank you
As Jackie Gleason used to say: “How sweet it is!”
Goodbye, summer…hello, bus stop!
Again, Red and Rover, best comic strip.
Oh, boys….another beautiful summer…love you, dearest Red and Rover
Such beautiful sentiment expressed in the colors of the sunset with Red and Rover in shadow. Thank you, Brian.
Memories are made of this….
We all see the results of that from 2 years of “home schooling”, these children were set back quite a bit.
Wish I could still race home! Does waddling count?
The bond between a boy and his dog. Love this.
It’s just priceless
Brings a tear to my eye! So very sweet!
looks like my son did when we homeschooled him
Like to see it w/o the inset or words. Just the art work!!
choke!
What is sad is he is not developing normal social skills by having any friends his age.
Such a great love!
School here started a week ago.
And the tail wag in #2 – another reason why B. B. has my fav cartoon, details.
And even though Red has never beaten Rover home from the bus stop, every race if one of fun, and love between a boy and his dog.
I’m sure homeschooling was less common 50+ years ago.
Home schooling: You will miss out on the most valuable lesson I learned in school. Don’t trust anybody.
End of summer in the school years. A unique sadness that is never matched or understood. Fades after a few days of school, but remains in the psyche forever.
It seems like summer just started last week.
