Foggy once again and 52 at the first look, sun and clouds a possible stray shower or T-storm, the predicted high is 77. I think I can stand it.
Yesterday I talked about the possibly extinct Catamount and how some folks lay claim to seeing one from time to time, I also said, maybe me. Well, it was in the mid to late 90s and I was between jobs doing a motor route delivering Burlington Free Press news papers. I had a favorite place to stop for a relief brake on a back road, way back road, when a deer burst out of the bushes, she (doe?) saw me and dashed back into the bushes off to the side. I finished up and started back to the truck (Grandfather) when I saw something else and I really zeroed in on a cat shape running across the road. Trouble is all I saw was the cat and nothing to size it against. So, did I see a Catamount or not? It’s one for Ripley’s.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
Do have a great day Vagabonds and may God bless you a keep you.
Another lazy Thursday here. The forecast is for 105, and it’s the last one in triple digits for the foreseeable future. Well, for the 10 day forecast anyway. Michael is currently sitting out on the back patio soaking up some warmth before it gets too hot.
I’m looking at an Amazon ad next to the comments right now. Apparently they have started a pharmacy service and are claiming to have reduced prices. How they can get below zero I don’t know unless they pay me to send my pills….
Tomorrow afternoon, Michael is going back to his cardiologist’s office for yet another echo. He’s had the cardio (heart) one, the carotid (neck) one and the last will be looking at the abdominal aorta. We don’t expect any surprises, though. It’s just a new doctor who wants to see things for himself.
Right at the moment, I’m feeling happy, content and generally great. Here’s to that feeling and hoping it will last.
