My brother has a dog like Rover, a mixed breed lab (and mostly lab) and he LOVES to fetch! He also can run in a flash so there’s no escaping when he wants to attack and eat you in his own way: like a lollipop (non stop licking). So I guess its a breed character. Labs are definitely an energetic, quick teddy bear of a dog.
