If only more HR managers understood that they’re the problem.
In Japan, companies hate firing people because it looks bad to the outside public. So they just move your desk closer to the door to give you the hint, pile on the work, and expect you to put in 80-hour weeks for no reward. All the while yelling at you for not showing more respect to the company.
one of my friends who is suffering the ravages of old age said he is depending on death to solve his problems now. I told him to go outside and take a walk once in a while.
